Peaked Mental Acuity- Daily physical activity (Preferred: One Hour) Improves Mental Health

Plogging helps with improving mental acuity. The best thing you could do in the morning is drink water and go for a walk in the neighborhood. Releasing the first five minutes of stored glucose within your muscles to your bloodstream will awaken all your senses in the morning. It is about as effective as an early coffee cup or the smell of coffee brewing with breakfast.

The first step of waking up is having a clear plan for your first five steps. Usually, I will start with brushing my teeth, cleaning my face, and clearing all my household chores out of the way. I find that making my bed first is the best of all motivations in the morning. When I come back to my bedroom with a made bed, my mood is changed instantly as if I was walking through a clean hotel room while I'm on vacation. Now let's get back to plogging.

After you have gathered all your equipment and have double-checked your checklist for bags, gloves, a large trash bag, and your trash picker, walk out the door with confidence that you are about to make a change in someone else's life and you are serving a purpose greater than yourself. Don't mind stares or strange looks while you walk down the street or sidewalk. People are always curious about what someone is doing, but you will receive little to no questions about your activities if you're wearing your bright yellow vest because they will assume you work for the city.

First, determine which level of mental acuity you would like to achieve today. I mean, the larger pieces of trash that you pick up everyone notices and will be the first thing that people will feel better about knowing that it's gone in their neighborhood. I call these trash pieces, which are about 5 feet or less immaterial size class trash. On the other hand, Class B will be hand-size trash, so trash that is about the size of your palm that you can readily carry and put in a small bag. Classy trash is the more refined smaller pieces of plastic cigarette butts and very hard to find when it's dark, or the sun is too bright up above.

You don't have to pick up everything from class C to class A to have a successful day. Your primary goal is to get your 10,000 steps in a day; however, in the morning, your goal is to burn at least 200 calories while you're plugging, bending down, climbing Hills, using your determination and willpower to make your neighborhood a better place to live.

Your efforts will not go unnoticed but most likely will go unrewarded unless you have a different purpose in mind. For example, I tend to look at the trash buried within the brush and woods as a physical challenge. So, I will go into the bush carefully, of course, grass Edge, and then collect all those pieces of trash in the small bags stacking the small bags in a row. In the end, I will collect smaller bags into a larger bag that I have stored in my backpack. The goal is to fill each bag with trash and debris. I like the old saying, "If it doesn't grow, it's got to go." With this approach, my previous goals have been met as far as burning my calories, making an improvement in my neighborhood service before self and accomplishing a plan that has not been performed by others, needless to say. There will be more trash every day, I promise. You will find that any little piece of debris that you leave behind gives someone an excuse to put more rubbish in that area. I take the philosophy that a person's internal environment is a reflection of the external environment. So seeing as much trash on the road doesn't necessarily tell me these are all lazy people; however, they are trying to make the environment mirror what they're feeling on the inside. The difference that we are making as plug ambassadors is we are giving an excellent example of what the environment looks like in its natural state without litter. You might call me crazy, but I even believe the birds communicate through their chirps louder as they see me clear out things they can't use or that have abused them in their daily lives through the woods. Call it a Cinderella story if you want, but I see a happier environment, happier people, or a symbiotic relationship between humans and nature. Using physical exercise in this matter automatically increases your mental health or somewhat stimulates your mental acuity. While you're focusing on decluttering and removing unwarranted decorations with trash and debris, you don't have time to worry about what other people are thinking, nor are you bogged down with emotional baggage that either you woke up with or immediately put on like your pair of pants or shoes in the morning. The fresh air and physical activity fill each beat of your heart with a new satisfaction. Each breath stimulates all of your nerve endings, and your senses are heightened with each step. I would say this is the start of a beautiful day, wouldn't you think?
